One of the torcheres had frass in the shell, evidence of recent Common Furniture Beetle activity.

Half of the Leicester Gallery put to bed. The large portrait at the end of the room is protected with a waterproof sheet as the internal gutters in the attic above can overflow leading to water pouring through the ceiling and down the painting
