This week I posted about the NT Textile Studio’s new blog and last night I discovered that the students of West Dean write a blog about their studies in various conservation disciplines at the college in West Sussex http://westdeanconservation.com/
There are lots of blogs on our ‘Other blogs of interest’ page that I recommend taking a look at , particularly the National Trust ‘Treasure Hunt’ blog, http://nttreasurehunt.wordpress.com/ written by Emile de Bruijn. His role “is to co-ordinate the acquisition of works of art and other objects with historical connections to the houses of the National Trust.”
Treasure Hunt “is about celebrating the beauty of the National Trust’s places and collections, and about uncovering the stories behind the objects in our collections, and how those objects relate to each other and to us.” It is a very insightful read!
Happy blog reading.
